Tour details Details of the 'Paris, Lisieux, Lourdes' Family pilgrimage

Immerse yourself in the spiritual and architectural grandeur of Paris' Catholic landmarks that have inspired generations. Your journey bigins at the majestic Notre Dame de Paris, a Gothic masterpiece whose soaring arches whisper the history of 860+ years of faith and resilience.

Next, visit the awe-inspiring Sacre Cœur Basilica in Montmartre, its luminous white dome and the breathtaking panoramic views will help you to fall in love with Paris. Then discover the hidden Chapel of the Miraculous Medal. Thanks to the Marian Apparitions that Saint Catherine Labouré experienced here it has become a serene haven for prayer and reflection.

You'll also have time to venerate the 1st class relics of Saint Vincent de Paul, a Saint whose compassion and charity highlight the enduring influence of Catholic social teaching in the heart of Paris and the world. This curated itinerary through Paris unveils the city's sacred heritage and promises a deeply personal experience.

Journey through the French countryside to the charming town of Alencon to visit the birthplace and childhood home of Saint Therese of Lisieux. This pilgrimage site focuses on Saints Louis and Zelie Martin, the parents of Saint Therese, and the first married couple to become saints together.

It honors the legacy of her devoted parents. Recognized for their exemplary patience, humility, and faith. Louis and Zelie are true symbols of Catholic virtue and devotion. Their inspiring lives filled with great grief and greater love paved the way for Therese spirituality of “The Little Way”. This is a “must do” stop for married couples and those considering marriage as their vocation.

This stop will be a mini retreat offering a serene space for reflection and prayer, inviting you to connect with this saintly family.

Experience a profound spiritual journey in Lisieux, the town that embraced the legacy of Saint Therese, the Little Flower.

You'll be able to kneel in peace at the foot of her relics in the Carmel that she joined when she was 15yrs old. Then explore the Carmels memorial a thoughtfully curated Museum that shares personal artifacts, relics, and historical narratives that celebrate the extraordinary life and enduring influence of Saint Therese.

Afterwards you'll discover the majestic Basilica of Saint Therese which stands as a radiant beacon of faith to the world. Its beautiful architechure and sacred art inspiring awe and deep reflection.

Conclude your transformative pilgrimage in Lourdes, a destination celebrated worldwide as a center of miraculous healings, genuine faith, and moving encounters. You'll journey into the revered Lourdes Sanctuary, touch the stone walls, drink the water, and learn why the sacred Grotto remains a powerful focal point for prayer and reflection today.

In 1858, at the Grotto of Massabielle, Our Lady first appeared to Saint Bernadette, revealing herself as “The Immaculate Conception” and asking that a chapel be built and processions made there. Lourdes is a radiant beacon of devotion whose sacred atmosphere has inspired generations of believers to grow closer to Our Lady and Christ.

You'll admire the spiritual majesty of the upper and then lower Basilicas where you will be able to adore Jesus in the Eucharist and love Him who loved you first. Then you'll walk in the footsteps of Saint Bernadette visiting the “Cachot”, an abandoned prison that once sheltered her impoverished family.

As night falls, you'll join thousands of fellow pilgrims from throughout the world in the candlelight procession, a moving experience that illuminates the sanctuary with faith, hope, and true Catholic unity. You'll partake in this timeless devotion, requested by Our Lady, that continues to make Lourdes a place of profound spiritual renewal.

Excellent planner and more excellent Catholic

“Havilah did a fantastic job leading us across France and showing us the rich history steeped in our shared faith, especially as it relates to the Sacred Heart. She did a great job wrangling a large group of over 25 people, even in such a busy place as Paris, despite our best efforts to resist learning the definition of urgency in a packed itinerary. Further...”

An amazing event filled pilgrimage!

“This was a beautiful pilgrimage I went with a large group of 26 people and everyday was so event filled. We enjoyed some great French cuisine and saw so many beautiful churches and learned so much about each location we visited. The price we paid for the trip was very worth it for all the activities we did!”

“We took a family day trip (mom, dad and five kids) to Lisieux and Alencon with Blue Mantle. Wow! The hour drive from Paris was beautiful itself, really gets you out into the French countryside, but the story of St. Therese, her saintly parents (St. Louis and St. Zelie) really came to life. The tour guide was super friendly and was able to walk us through the...”
